Specifying Channel Configuration for Customer Scans
When the customer creates a data log file from their vehicle, a default channel configuration will be selected.
You can override the default channel configuration by assigning a channel configuration file from VCM Scanner to the customer’s vehicle. When the customer performs their next file sync, the latest config will be automatically selected for data logging.
NOTE: In the Log Files screen of the TDN app, customers can manually select or deselect scanner config files you have assigned to their vehicles. If you have assigned multiple scanner config files to a vehicle, this allows the customer to switch between them. It’s also possible for the customer to return to the default configuration by deselecting all files.
